Mustang or Thoroughbred

Okay so I kind of think this is sad, X Calibur is calmer then Indy. I worked with both of them today and Indy was prancing around like a nut case and rearing and bucking all over the place. He is so full of himself. And when I got X out to work with him, he was nice and calm, not crazy at all. He didnt really buck or anything and he did very very well with the saddle on. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will finally be able to get on him for the first time. He is coming along very very nicely and if it doesnt rain to to much then maybe it will be almost two weeks that he will be some what rideable. Such an exciting thing. :)

Day.....I don't even remember

So its been quite a while since I have gotten the chance to put any kind of post up on here. First my Camera goes crazy and then my computer crashes. What a set of unfortunate events. And with all that happening and not getting to post anything we got loads and loads of snow, so the horribleness of not having an indoor arena sets in even more. X Calibur seemed to love the snow, and now he's put into a different kind of herd. Lightning and Twilight are gone which is kind of a relief. And now we have his new buddy here, INDY FOREST, The great great grandson of the one and only Secretariat. And Grandson of A.P. Indy. Anyways, so exciting to have such a special horse here, and Indy and X seem to be getting along very very well. Indy may be 16+ hands but Little X and him are best of friends. If they arent with each other outside, they are pacing the fence.

It's a little strange to look outside and see a giant Grey Thoroughbred in the pasture with a little bay Mustang, but it didn't take long to get used to that. X-Calibur is getting closer and closer to being rideable each day, even with the ground completely muddy, I am still able to do some work with him in the barn and right outside of the barn. He's such a sweetheart.
